Vintage Industrial Desk Light from Helo Leuchten, Germany 1950s
About the Item
This vintage desk light was designed and manufactured by HELO in Neuburg in the 1950s.
The lamp features an aluminum lampshade and a flexible, chrome-plated gooseneck lamp arm. The bakelite on/off switch is located on the lampshade. The base of the lamp can be attached to a desk or worktop using the clamping device.
The lamp was completely disassembled, stripped of paint, de-rusted and then painted in elegant matt black. The chrome parts have been polished. It was rewired with black wire and requires one E27 bulb (LED recommended).
The light is wired for use in US and the rest of the world.
