Vintage Italian 1970s Table Lamp in the Style of Joe Colombo for Oluce, Chromed
About the Item
Offered for sale is a rare, attractive and seldom seen table lamp, made in Italy most probably in the first hlf of the 1970s. It is unmarked, and it's almost impossibly to know who the manufacturer actually was, but the inspiration is clearly drawn from Joe Colombo's famous period lamps - including, most notably, the "Spider" table lamp manufactured by OLuce.
The lamp is preserved in very good original conditions; the chrome coating does not show signs of flaking, and only has the expectable (and easily removable) patina due to its age. The black laquer coating on the wood base only presents minor signs of use. The wiring, plug and and switch are original, and the light bulb is perfectly working.
