Vintage Murano Glass Millefiori Table Lamp
About the Item
Stunning vintage Murano Glass millefiori table lamp on an ebonite wood base, circa 1950s. Millefiori is the art glass technique in which colored glass rods are fused and cut to create flower patterns; an ancient technique revived in Venice in the sixteenth century and in France and England in the nineteenth century. This lamp has white background with various bright colors fused into the glass to create a one of a kind look. Spectacular! The addition of a large drum shade makes this piece extra special! The lamp measures 8"D x 38"H and the shade is 14"D x 10"H. Truly a rare Italian beauty! #3112
