This elegant pair of table lamps features an opaline glass sphere and a sturdy circular brass base, through which the electrical wires for the socket are expertly concealed beneath a cover. These lamps stand out for their minimalist design and the magnificent lighting effect they produce in any space. Crafted between 1980 and 1985 in an artisan workshop on the outskirts of Milan, they are the result of the skill and expertise of a highly talented craftsman who was deeply attuned to the needs and tastes of the time. The design strikes a perfect balance between elegance and functionality, with a well-proportioned base supporting two opaline glass spheres. These spheres are not newly manufactured; they feature a threaded design on the glass, a technique used decades ago to secure them to the base. The artisan drew inspiration from Modernist style with influences from post-war Italian design, paying meticulous attention to detail and using high-quality materials. This pair of lamps is an ideal decorative addition to modern, classic, or vintage-inspired interiors, making them perfect as accent lighting for a living room or as sophisticated bedside lamps. We have carefully brushed and polished the brass base to restore its original brilliance and completely replaced the electrical system with European wiring. However, we strongly recommend having an electrician check the voltage compatibility in other countries before use. Thanks to these restorations, the lamps are in perfect condition.
