Vintage Signed Ivory White Porcelain and Gilt Hand Painted Table Lamp

About the Item

This lamp is so special, so elegant and hard to find. The palette is attractive in ivory with leaves in various shades of green and gray that appear to be falling on this vintage botanical hand-painted porcelain vasiform table lamp. This is attributed to Europe from the mid 20th century. There is a signature painted with a brush near the base of the lamp. The lamp's base is porcelain with gilt trim that is wearing in some sections. The plug is older and dates to mid-century or earlier. It presents well with an added white shade that is not included. It measures 33 inches tall from base to finial and 5 inches by 5 inches wide. The lamp's harp is old and unattractive with deep oxidation, and it will be replaced before delivery unless the buyer asks otherwise. Provenance This lamps was purchased at a Pacific Coast Highway antique store in the South Bay that was a neighborhood fixture for years: Antique Effects. It shut its doors early last year.
