Space Age Cobra table lamp after a design by Masayuki Kurokawa from the 1970s. Here in a rare version in yellow.
This design reflects the prevailing design direction of Japan from the 70s. Metabolism in architecture and a kind of futuristic functionalism in design. This lamp looks like a small characters. It is extremely functional. The rubberized arm with a rib structure goes into a foot made of lacquered steel. The umbrella is made of metal and seamlessly connects to the arm.
