Rare Perforated Table Lamp in Full Brass Model EV 65 for Itsu, 1950s
About the Item
One of the most original retro lamps that we have come across in our 30 years career and one that you will certainly not come accross easily. A full brass version with a perforated shade. In the Itsu catalogue this model is presented with a painted metal shade, but not in full brass. This piece could well be made to order only.
This lamp certainly suits any design lover’s home or office interior environment. It is especially pleasing to the eye as the light filters through the holes on the brass shade in dark surroundings. The overall vintage condition is great. We have made absolutely no alterations or adjustments to this lamp.
Itsu was one of the leading light manufacturing companies and a daughter company of Idman. It made high quality lamps and produced lamps for major projects, including some of Alvar Aalto's projects like the Aalto University.
