About the Item
'Timor' lamp designed by Louis Kalff. Inspired by his design of the Evoluon building in Eindhoven. Beautiful and especially sleek timeless design. Iconic 'Mid 20th century' design object.
The central bulb is slightly recessed in the center of the shade, casting a soft, diffused light when illuminated. A sleek, chrome-finished cylindrical stem connects the shade to a circular base, which, although simple, shows some wear, adding a vintage charm.
Designer
Louis Christiaan Kalff is a graphic designer and a leading Dutch designer of the 20th century. He is considered one of the pioneers of industrial design.
It is currently wired to 220V as per European standards and could easily be switched to 110v as per American standards, upon request and free of charge. The light bulb is not included.
