1980's Art Deco Style Glass Torchiere Uplighter Lamp
About the Item
A vintage glass art deco style torchiere table lamp.
Crafted from soft dove grey and white rolled glass, the lamp's single-piece construction—both shade and base—exhibits a skilled blend of glass-blowing and moulding skills. The glass has been acid etched to give it a soft, frosted, delicate matte finish.
The lamp's silhouette echoes the iconic flame torches, sweeping upwards and splaying outward, which pays homage to the Art Deco period.
While the lamp does have two small chips at the rim—its condition remains commendable.
