19th Century Convex Railway Mirror Industrial Size

About the Item

A fantastic opportunity to acquire a hard to find piece, the mirror is very rare and sought after. Originally found on railways in Eastern Europe. Large vintage round train mirror with elliptical frame extending below mirror edge, circa 19th century. Beautifully aged and a stunning patina to the mirror. The glass is foxed and worn creating and amazing one off look. The mirror mounts to wall. Please see images for texture and patina: mirror frame has traces of white and red paint and sealant, and mirror surface patinaed with age.
