About the Item
A highly decorative country house convex mirror, with oil gilt slip and faded velvet clad frame. The original mercury mirror plate has been beautifully oxidised and pitted by time.
Completely untouched and original, English circa 1880.
Some small tears to the velvet, minor splitting to hardwood frame and slip. Some surface wear to the mirror plate.
