19th Century Large Giltwood Bevelled Rococo Mirror

This magnificent French mirror is a superb example of 19th-century craftsmanship, combining grandeur, elegance, and delicate ornamentation. Crafted from wood and stucco and entirely gilded, this impressive piece captures the opulence of the Louis XV style with its richly detailed carvings and majestic presence.
The frame is adorned with intricate rocaille motifs, featuring swirling acanthus leaves, delicate floral elements, and organic curves typical of the Rococo period. The top is crowned by an exceptional openwork crest, exuberantly carved and beautifully executed, creating a dramatic focal point that draws the eye upward.
