About the Item

This elegant Mid-Century oak floor mirror, inspired by the design ethos of Pedersen and Hansen, embodies the refined simplicity of Scandinavian craftsmanship from the 1960s. Crafted from solid oak, the mirror features a warm, natural finish that highlights the wood’s grain, with a slender, minimalist frame that enhances its sleek vertical presence. The full-length reflection is framed by subtly tapered edges, offering both functionality and a sculptural aesthetic that complements any bedroom, dressing area, or curated interior. Its timeless design, reminiscent of Danish mid-century style, makes it a versatile accent for collectors and interior designers seeking authentic period pieces with enduring appeal. About Pedersen and Hansen (Inspiration): Pedersen and Hansen, a Danish furniture manufacturer established in the mid-20th century, gained recognition for its high-quality wood furniture during the Mid-Century Modern movement. Based in Denmark, the company collaborated with designers like Kai Kristiansen to produce pieces known for their clean lines, functional design, and use of materials such as oak. While no specific floor mirror design is definitively attributed to them, their influence on Scandinavian aesthetics is evident in works inspired by their style, which remain prized by collectors for their craftsmanship and understated elegance.
