EARLY 19th CENTURY EMPIRE MIRROR

About the Item

Beautiful medium-sized mirror made of solid walnut, finely carved, ebonized and gilded with gold leaf. The gilded bronze details further enrich the mirror. The mirror has a shelf shape with an upper shelf, adorned with elegant vegetal decorations in gilded bronze both in the lower and upper bands. The turned feet with vegetal references are in ebonized and gilded wood, giving a touch of class. A distinctive element are the two lateral turned columns, also decorated in ebonized and gilded wood, enriched with vegetal motifs and two caryatids that recall ancient Egypt. The mirror is finally contemporary with the frame. This mirror, with its elegance and refinement, is able to enhance any environment.
