Haberdasher's Triple Cheval Dressing Mirror
About the Item
These early commercial Cheval mirrors are very hard to come by. I like them best when they have the ornate cast iron swivel outriggers. They look great and function even better. It has a handsome heavy Empire oakwood frame in the original finish. The color is a nice contrast to the black/copper Japanned iron hardware. The side panels can swing, turn to any angle and even fold up when not in use. The panels are almost two foot wide and when spread out to reach six and a half foot. This is one of the more elaborate examples with a carved head in the crown. The height is about the same. I recently lost some weight and actually feel good about buying mirrors now.
