Pair of Pugin Gothic Giltwood Mirrors ~9 feet tall


Truly extraordinary pair of 19th century English Gothic Revival architectural mirrors, nearly 10 feet tall. In the manner of Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (aka God's Architect). I found these in London nearly 20 years ago at an antique dealer on the Pimlico Road. They were displayed against a wall covered with dark green felt and I had to have them. The gilding and gesso on the frames has recently been stabilized and restored.
