A truly, exceptional and most fine example of the neoclassical mastery. This monumental mirror will make a truly shows-stopping statement in any parlor it is displayed. Very formal, robustly carved swags, acorns, festoons, columns, Laurel swags, acanthus , rosettes it is truly a most superb tours de force of skill and artistry. A work of this great expanse of proportion , detail and grandeur would have been commission by only the most prominent of prominent families of the day. At buyers request we will provide museum level re-gilding and conservation. Or you can choose to maintain the original finish and patina as seen here. Monumental work; Truly a shows stopper.
