About
This beautiful pair of dormer windows oiginate in Southern France and date approximately 1870.
These windows are also known as “Oeil de Boeuf” wich means oxe’s eye and are typical for French architecture. The windows are made in zinc and have been painted off white long ago. They have a beautiful antique patina and an abundant appearance with the two c scrolls at the bottom and the pinnacle on top. the windows were cleaned in our workshop and mirror glass was inserted. Some repairs were done to the windows and pieces of timber were inserted to strengthen the mirrors. .
