About the Item
Antique Victorian rectangular overmantel mirror.
Very unique piece.
Made of solid oak with carved lion heads and scrolled carvings to its 2 sturdy front support legs.
Rectangular bevelled edge mirrored panel at the back shows a nice rich age patina.
The structure has smooth curved edges to the top.
Originally designed to sit above a mantlepiece, it can also be used as a mirrored hall bench.
Very robust piece of furniture and highly decorative too.
In very good antique condition, shows some signs consistent with age and use.
There is some frosting to the bevelled edge mirror, but this is to be expected and does add to its charm.
No damage to the mirror.
