About the Item
19th century Victorian giltwood and gesso landscape overmantel mirror, with three bevelled rectangular plates flanked by Corinthian cluster columns, the frieze decorated with Aurora leading Apollo's chariot, with a ball decorated frieze. Absolutely identical mirror was part of the interior in a scene of a famous TV series as you may see on the attached photos.
