About the Item
Circa 1830 Swedish classical period console & mirror. A fine & elegant example in mahogany with boxwood line inlays to accent the curves and scrolls of the design. Rondels accent the chapeau de gendarme crown & repeat at the sides of the curved console uprights (the latter also repeated at the frieze beneath the crown). Two pieces - mirror & console. Attaches directly to the wall (not self-supporting). 102"high, 28 1/4"w., 16 1/4"d.
