English Rococo Mirror

About

Fine George III style giltwood mirror in the manner of Thomas Johnson, the shell carved crest with foliate scrolled pediment, over a female mask, the sides with trailing flowering vines and scrolls, the lower border plate with central carving of a squirrel within a wooded enclosure, the whole retaining much original gilding. England, circa 1880.
