About the Item
Oval mirror with original mirror in center and beveled edge. The mirror is divided into three parts: the sides are two panes of glass painted with woodland scenes in autumn colors depicting a stream with trees and water plants. The frame alternates between lacquered and gilded parts with floral motifs and has an inner and outer gilded border. The dividers of the three inner parts are also lacquered with golden floral elements above and below.
On the right side is the signature, probably of the author of the paintings: Germonde.
