A fine and large Louis XVI giltwood mirror: dating from the late 18th century, French in origin.
The mirror plate with neoclassical borders surrounding, and surmounted by an allegorical Crest of "Love". The crest featuring a pair of burning torches behind a pair of kissing doves in the center. All surrounded by a laurel wreath, and the sides flanked by similar draped laurels.
