Pair of Massive Antique Danish Biedermeier Pier Console Mirrors
About the Item
A stepped design in burl wood with a cornice at the top and a recessed panel with an oval mirror over the tall two-part mirror. A shelf with a dark wood inset oval has scrolled supports with dark wood inset ovals on the sides and ends, and light string inlays on the edges. The mirror below has an ebonized upper panel over a stepped base. Lacking the back supports for attachment.
Condition: slight scrapes to the ebonized panels and front edges, horizontal cracks to top panels' veneers, some age related losses on mirrors. We have hung the mirrors although there are drill holes on both the base and mirror backs showing strut usage but the struts are not included.
