Richly carved and substantial quality. The beveled mirror plate surmounted by a broken arch pediment, enriched with egg-and-dart ornament and centered by a scallop shell issuing floral garlands above an acanthus clasp, above a stiff-leaf carved frieze with central projecting lion's mask tablet.
