Early 20th Century Spanish Giltwood Sunburst Wall Mirror with Mirrored Insets

Bring radiance and antique charm to your interior with this striking Spanish sunburst mirror.
Crafted in Spain circa 1920, the piece is expertly hand-carved from wood and finished in a warm, aged gilt patina. Its dynamic design features alternating rays, some adorned with inset mirror strips, others carved with stylized foliate motifs, radiating from a central circular mirror plate. The outer edges are punctuated by symmetrical floral rosettes, each set with a small round mirror that adds sparkle, texture, and dimensional interest.
The center mirror retains beautiful signs of age and surface patina, contributing to the mirror's authentic antique presence. The back is outfitted with its original structure and a sturdy wire for hanging. Measuring 27 inches in diameter, this decorative piece makes a dramatic focal point—perfect above a console, mantel, or in a grand entryway.
