One of a kind large scale carved giltwood Spanish sunburst mirror, 1940s-1950s
Unique large scale (52 in diameter / 132cm diameter) Baroque style carved wood gold leaf gilt double layered sunburst mirror.
Unusual piece in this size.
This mirror features a wood carved round frame surrounding the circular glass. Two layers of rays in different sizes with a central richly carved ring surrounding the glass. It has a nice aged patina showing its original gold leaf finishing.
Spectacular to be placed as wall mirror or console mirror in a main room, entryway, foyer or living room.
Overall diameter: 132 cm ( 52 in diameter )
Diameter of the glass: 70cm ( 27,56 in diameter ).
