Spanish Colonial Gilt Carved Wood Mirror with Mosaic Mirror Inlays
About the Item
Gorgeous Gilltwood Mirror, Spanish Colonial, Scalloped Frame and Mosaic Mirror Inlays. Spain, 1940s-1950s.
The gilt frame was richly carved from solid wood and it features seven layers of mirror mosaic inlays surrounding the central squared mirror panel.
It has a terrific aged patina showing its original gold leaf gilding.
It can be hung in rhombus position or in square position.
This wall mirror has all the taste of Baroque and spanish colonial styles. It will be a nice addition to any spanish revival, classical or contemporary decoration.
