French Vanity Mirror in Gilt Hand Forged Iron, 1940s

About the Item

Stunning hand wrought iron oval table / vanity mirror or standing mirror with foliage details, France, 1940s. This lovely oval mirror is all made by hand in iron. It stands up on four iron legs. The frame is heavily adorned by the hammer marks and it has foliage decorations and a ribbon on the top. It can be used as vanity mirror over a vanity table, in a powder room but also in a dressing room as shoe mirror. Measures: 56 cm H x 37 cm W x 16 cm D (22.04 in H x 14.56 in W x 6.30 in D) Glass measures: 47.5 cm H x 32.5 cm W (18.70 in H x 12.79 in W).
