Three Wise Mirrors, Minimalist Ethnic Sculptures Inspired by African Masks
About the Item
Three functional mirrors for a dressing room, or wooden masks and sculptures for your living or your entrance. Three different characters, who live together in harmony despite the difference in their color, like the 3 Wise Men who come from distant lands bringing precious gifts. The semiotics of the mask that hides, joined to the reflection of the mirror, is in itself explosive. Lorenza Bozzoli, surprises us once again with her very contemporary educated crossbreeding references and offers us a totemic object. Made in solid beech wood they have three different finishing: Haua round in natural beech; Eze the forehead mask, stained wengè; Bikita the drop-shaped mask stained Canaletto walnut. All three mount a mirror with a brass element. They are leaned on an iron stand black lacquered or, they may be hanged on a wall with a metal hook.

Born from the experience of Matteo De Ponti, architect, who grew up in a historic Milanese design family, and the artistic sensibility of Laura Macagno, degree in Economics and passionate of art and design.
Our mission is to create design icons, suitable for furnishing the homes of sophisticated and international clients. Our expressive research is inspired by the Scandinavian design, the Bauhaus, the Italian architects of the '50s as well as ethnic handcraft, houses of famous writers of the XX century, suspended between present, past and future; the artists who wrote the code of modernity, as Mondrian, Sonia Delaunay, Moholy Nagy, Brancusi and the graphic genius of Escher. We love trips to far lands, starting from Argentina, Laura's birthplace, where our dream started. From there comes the name Colé, tied to a common memory: an element of color which makes us smile just thinking about it.
