French Trumeau Mirror with its Original Grey Finish & Mirrors, 19th Century

About the Item

A French wooden trumeau mirror from the 19th century. This antique mirror from France features a vertically set rectangular-shape, with straight-line trim molding, with a mirror set within a top panel, over a secondary mirror below, with thick areas of wood/surround in between. A hand-carved shell adds embellishment above the upper mirror at center. It stands just over 5.5 feet in height, retains its original (or quite old) gray finish, and original mirrors. This 19th century French pier or trumeau mirror is a delightful way to add the perception of more space, bouncing light within any room it adorns.
