About the Item

A fine and most attractive antique Chippendale period carved wood and gilt oval mirror, topped with an elaborate Rococo cartouche cresting consisting of acanthus leaves and C-scrolls. The oval mirror plate has a gadrooned edged frame with pierced rock-work and garlands of bell flowers.
