19th Century French Louis XV Style Gilded Mirror
About the Item
A 19th century Louis XV style gilded mirror with gesso fruits an an elaborate sculptural crest with urn, acanthus leaves, grape clusters and wheat. Nice three dimensional details. Warm gilt finish with some losses and touch-ups. Original mirror with old silvering. Restorations on the frame and some losses on the crest. One replaced board on back.
