19th Century Georgian Style Gilt Mirror With Green Accents for Restoration
About the Item
A 19th century gilt mirror in vertical rectangular form with floral spray relief on the beveled frame, supported by a sage green easel backing with wire hanging hardware. Topped with a carved and pierced flourish of gilt leaves and flowers. Restoration required.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Restoration required as there are several losses to the frame and crest, wear to gilt finish, areas of carved losses and repairs, and moderate corroded discoloration of mirror surface. Despite the condition the mirror still retains an admirable Georgian presentation.
