About the Item
Italian Neoclassical giltwood and painted mirror of impressive scale at over 8 feet tall. The carved crown decorated with acanthus, laurel and oak leaves with acorns, as well as a beaded swag joined by florets. The frame with a Roman molding with interior beaded molding told a classical gadrooning. The top and bottom sides with acanthus leaf decoration.
This monumental mirror is truly elegant, perfect for an entryway, above a mantel or console table, or hanging on its own in all its glory.
