19th Century Louis Philippe Carved Two-Tone Faux-Bois and Blackened Wall Mirror
About the Item
This elegant antique wall mirror was crafted in France, circa 1870. The frame is decorated with a Faux Bois painted decor in between patinated blackened paint finish; it is further embellished with carved beads around the inside edges. The three-color mirror with the original mercury glass and wood backing is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich and interesting colorful finish. A perfect size for a powder room or entry way. New wire in the back for easy installation.
