Antique Large 19th Century Gilt Overmantle Wall Mirror – High-Quality
This elegant 19th-century gilt overmantle mirror features a striking yet simple design, making it a captivating addition to any suitable space. The solid frame has no loose joints, ensuring lasting durability.
The mirrored glass is old but in good condition (possibly original, but maybe later), displaying light oxidation and minor age-related imperfections typical for a piece of this age.

Overall: Height 142cm, Width 88cm, Depth 6cm
Mirrored Glass: Height 120cm, Width 66cm
The frame retains its original aged and patinated gilt finish, with some refinishing and touch-ups. It is in good antique condition, showing characteristic signs of age, including knocks, marks, wear, losses, repairs, and alterations. A few historic, extinct woodworm holes have been treated as a precaution. The paper backing has been recently replaced.
