Splendid large ebonised faux bamboo overmantle wall mirror from the 19th Century, boasting fine craftsmanship, charm, and elegance.
This uncommon and enchanting mirror stands out as a noteworthy decorative find, offering an impressive piece that would elevate any suitable setting. Robust construction with secure joints.
The mirrored glass remains in good condition, featuring light oxidation, some spotting, and age-related imperfections. Dimensions are 80cm in height, 109cm in width, and 5cm in depth, with mirrored glass measuring 58cm in height and 87cm in width. Versatile enough for hanging in either portrait or landscape orientation.
The frame is in good antique condition, having undergone recent refinishing in a sleek black French polish. Stock No. 8351.
