Antique Neoclassical Carved and Gilt Mirror
About the Item
A wide mirror with elaborate crest with center urn decorated with a medallion and goat head and ring handles that support bell flower vines. The urn is raised on a tiered pedestal with a swag. The outer surround with overlapping discs and goat heads with rings on the upper corners. With an inner twist surround and oval rosettes on the side mirror panels. The gilt in a nice mellow patina.

Condition: Please see all detail photos. There are large areas of mercury oxidation to the mirror glass, some repairs to the frame and loss to the top right-facing Ram Horn which are mentioned for accuracy and do not detract from the exceptional presentation.
