This materially dynamic and sleek Art Deco Machine Age Round Mirror W/Reverse Tiered Bevel Detailing & Brass Fittings originates from the United States, Circa 1935. Features a round silhouette beautifully scaled and proportioned, putting the machined detailing and precise geometric detailing of the mirror on full display. Subtle brass clips attach the mirror to its backing, leading to a beveled detailing surrounding the edge of the mirror, behind which are reversed etched linear grooves that radiate with energy and produce gleaming silver reflections when viewed in motion. This mirror is an excellent example of the design characteristics and sensibilities of the Art Deco era, utilizing machined techniques and high attention to material quality and sleek modernist geometry.
