France, 1940-1950s.
Stunning sunburst mirror with a frame comprised by two layers of jagged thick rays in different sizes with. Finished in gold leaf gilding.
This sunburst mirror has a terrific aged patina showing its original gold leaf gilding.
To be exhibited alone or as a part of a collection of sunburst mirrors in different sizes to create a wall composition.
Eye-catching Brutalist design. Heavily adorned by the hammer marks thorought.

This sunburst mirror was entirely made by hand. It has a frame with alternating rays in two sizes with cut endings. A twisted iron rope surrounds de mirror glass. It has a terrific aged original patina in bronze-gilt color.
