Circa 1900 faux bamboo wall mirror from France. The frame is hand turned to have the appearance of bamboo, but is made from cherry. The frame surrounds what appears to be the original mercury glass mirror, which has wonderful losses to the mercury, giving it an elegant and worn feel.
