Our prevailing focus is on form and its deformation but lately, we have been more and more attracted to coloring as shaping. Cotton Candy collection is a certain manifesto of expressive matt. Shifting our classic high-polished inox objects into matt shades unraveled the unexplored chapters of a new interpretation of shine.Cotton Candy Collection is a provocative twist on sensual perception. Candy-like impressions are achieved thanks to experiments with matt shades of powder coatings. This out-of-the-ordinary effect evokes carefree childhood memories that seem to smell like cotton candy.
Zietas main goal is to deliver uniqueness and customization in design and constructions while keeping the production, transport and warehousing innovatively efficient.

TAFLA collection is a radical step towards such transformations. Mirrors made with FiDU technology are a result of free deformation caused by high internal pressure. This process creates objects of great durability yet of subtle structure.

About the artist/ designer:
Oskar Zieta – an architect, designer, artist and innovator. Born in 1975, after he graduated architecture at Szczecin University of Technology in 2000, he has got a scholarship at ETH Zurich. Over the course of 2 years of postgraduate studies he developed skills in parametric design and modern manufacturing technologies finalized with PhD graduation. Currently he runs the department of industrial design at School of Form. Laureate of many prestigious awards in design and technology. Inventor of FiDU - inner pressure metal forming technology - the keystone to Zieta Collection, Zieta Out of Ordinary as well as large scale sculptures like NAWA on Daliowa Island in Wroclaw and WIR in Galeria Pólnocna in Wroclaw.
