About the Item
WELSH BREWERY MIRROR, LATE 20TH CENTURY
A scarce example of advertising for a short run ale commemorating the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas by S.A. Brain & Co. Ltd. (Brains) brewery based in Cardiff.
I am not sure how many of these mirrors were produced but not very many as cannot find another example anywhere.
Depicting a cameo of Dylan’s portrait above the logo with an impression of Dylan’s famous Laugharne Boathouse home underneath.
The mirror surface has a foxed, distressed appearance to the surface.
In its original wooden frame.
It is in very good vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
Measuring 65cm x 46cm x 2cm.
