European Old Rectangular Gilded Wall Mirror
About the Item
This gilded mirror has still its original mirror plate and wooden frame as well as wooden back panels. This classic design will add an elegant flair to any room. The golden frame, rectangular shape and generous dimensions make it the focal point of an entrance way, living room, dining area, or even an opulent bedroom.
The mirror can be hung on a wall with the appropriate tools as well as placed on an even surface.
Due to age and wear the frame itself has a few chips and a slight discoloration of the gold. The mirror plate itself has a dark spot which is a sign of age and a normal process if moisture getting between the gllass and the backing causing the silver layer to chip off leaving the mirror with black spots. We think this adds to character and reflects the age of the piece.
