Exceptional 18th c Pair of Gilded Girandole Mirrored Sconces, Likely Swedish

About the Item

An exceptional pair of gilded Girandole mirrored wall sconces, likely Swedish, with brass candle arms, and original looking glass. The back of each shows and inscribed label, one with “Georg” and the other “Le Major Castiller Grenier (sp?)” The pair dates to the 18th century in very good condition, with some regilding at some point, minor mirror rubs, edge losses, imperfections, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 25.75 in H x 10.5 in W x 6 in D. Ref: 787
