Florentine Blue and Gold Intaglio Perforated Mirror with Grapes 1980s
About the Item
Italian Florentine mirror of rectangular shape in gilded wood and lacquered in blue, with antique finish, in good condition, by Chelini Firenze.
The elaborate frame is very distinctive; it is pierced with a rich carving that alternates between leaf motifs and auspicious bunches of grapes. The frame contains a beveled mirror, ground on the outer profile.
Good state of preservation; comes from a private Milanese residence.
Packing within a wooden crate is required for shipping.
The mirror can also possibly be hung horizontally, not just vertically, by changing the attachments on the back of the frame...
