Italian Gilded Mirror 1800s Intaglio Leaf Patterns and Mercury Glass
About the Item
Italian carved and gilded wooden leaf mirror from the mid-1800s, Louis Philippe style, elaborate carving with plant motifs and scrolls, tall pierced cyma and mercury mirror. Good overall state of preservation apart from minimal shortcomings evidenced by photographs, are signs of wear and tear compatible with dating and use. It comes from a private Milanese collection.
