Created in France in the early years of Emperor Napoleon III's reign, this giltwood mirror features a rectangular silhouette adorned with exquisite scrolling foliage. Boasting a slight red undertone, the frame is accented with rais-de-cœur motifs on the inner molding that surrounds the central mirror plate. With its nice proportions and golden finish, this Napoleon III French mirror circa 1850 will enliven any wall beautifully.
